Krzysztof Starnawski

He is a rescuer of Tatra Mountains Rescue Team (TOPR), one of the world's best cave divers, and an explorer. In 2011 he set the world record for closed-circuit diving, reaching a depth of 283 m in the Gulf of Aqaba (Egypt).
Many times he was a holder of Polish record in deep cave diving (his current result is -265 m). In September 2016 he had headed a team of divers who discovered the world's deepest underwater cave. The cave is called Hranická Propast and is located in Moravia. Krzysztof is an award winner of Kolosy 1999 in the category "The feat of the year", he was also honored during Kolosy in 2000, 2006, and 2011 in the same category. Moreover, he is the winner of Travelery 2017 in the category "The Man of the Year", prized for discovering the deepest underwater cave in the world.
